On April 15, 2026, the Immigration Services Agency of Japan partially revised its operational guidelines for the "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" visa category and published new supplementary materials. This revision specifically clarifies the examination procedures concerning "interpersonal services requiring language proficiency," and primarily for Category 3 and 4 companies, additional submitted documents and verification items are now required.
